Products Description
Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) is a widely used solid electrolyte in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and oxygen sensors, valued for its high oxygen-ion conductivity and electronic insulation. It can be synthesized via the sol-gel method using yttrium nitrate or isopropoxide, and nanoparticles can be produced in supercritical water or through CO₂ laser vaporization, allowing control over particle size and yttria content.
YSZ nanoparticles (<100 nm) are known for their strong ionic conductivity, chemical stability, excellent thermal shock resistance, low thermal conductivity, and high thermal expansion.
