The XW-512-2L is a sophisticated battery testing device primarily composed of a communication interface and a battery detection cabinet. The battery detection cabinet includes a battery clamp, a plate body for fixture placement, a constant current and constant voltage (CC/CV) power source, a registration control circuit, a sampling circuit, a single-chip microcontroller (AVR), and a control panel.

  1. High-Capacity Testing:
  • Capable of performing constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) charging, as well as constant current discharging for up to 512 battery cells simultaneously, within the specified voltage range.
  1. Advanced Power Supply:
  • Equipped with a CC/CV power supply that ensures seamless switching between constant current and constant voltage modes without any impact, making it ideal for lithium-ion battery charging requirements.
  1. Microcontroller Control:
  • Utilizes an AVR single-chip microcontroller as the central control unit, working in conjunction with peripheral sampling circuits. The device can be controlled via an upper computer, which allows for the storage of complete charge and discharge curves for all channels. Alternatively, it can operate independently using the control panel for tasks such as CC/CV charging, constant current discharge testing, and time-based sorting.

  • Each battery cell is powered by its own independent CC/CV source, ensuring that each cell operates in a self-contained loop without interference from others.
  1. Operational Status Display:
  • Each battery fixture is equipped with an LED to display operational status. Upon completion of discharge, the LED can indicate battery capacity sorting.
  1. Real-Time Monitoring:
  • Continuously monitors the voltage of each battery. During charging, the device first applies constant current charging. When the battery voltage reaches a preset value, it smoothly transitions to constant voltage charging. Charging concludes when the set time or current termination condition is met. During constant current discharging, the process ends if the battery voltage drops below a set value, and the corresponding battery indicator lights up.

  • Features a power-down protection function, allowing the device to resume its original workflow once power is restored.
  1. Flexible Configuration:
  • The upper computer can configure up to 32 working step parameters and 256 cycles. Each upper computer can connect to 1 to 15 sets of single-chip microcontroller systems (recommended to connect fewer than 10 sets for optimal performance).
  1. Comprehensive Software Features:
  • Graphical Interface: Displays real-time data such as voltage, current, time, and capacity for each battery, with various colors indicating different working statuses and abnormal conditions.
  • Segmented Capacity Indication: Allows for arbitrary segmentation of battery capacity indication (up to 100 segments).
  • Data Logging: Records data points based on changes in voltage, current, and time to form complete charge and discharge curves, with data point intervals of ≤10 seconds.
  • Battery Sorting: Supports sorting based on various conditions such as capacity, time, open-circuit voltage, and discharge platform.
  • Automatic Calculations: Automatically computes constant current charging ratio, capacity loss, discharge efficiency, average voltage, and median voltage.
  • Operator Permissions: Includes hierarchical operation settings with operator permission controls.
  • Data Visualization: Capable of displaying charge and discharge curves, as well as cycle diagrams.
