Current Collector Laser Welding: Cylindrical battery current collector laser welding refers to the process of laser welding the battery’s current collector to the battery terminal. This process typically involves spot welding or laser welding techniques, where strong laser weld points are formed between the battery terminal and the current collector to facilitate the transmission of electrical current within the battery

Functional Description:

  • Auto-Focus Feature: The welding head is equipped with a laser distance sensor that calculates the current distance between the welding head and the workpiece. It automatically moves to the preset focal position. The sensor performs non-contact laser measurements, providing high speed and precision. Once the focal position is reached, it is automatically saved.
  • CCD Vision Automatic Positioning System Features: First, the welding focal point is identified through one-click positioning. Then, the CCD vision positioning system locates the processing position of the welding pattern. The software corrects and compensates for any discrepancies, enabling automatic positioning and welding of the workpiece. This ensures consistent welding quality and precise alignment, achieving a perfect welding result.

Welding Protection System: To prevent welding oxidation and improve welding quality and yield, the equipment is equipped with an inert gas protection system. It uses coaxial or side-mounted gas pipes, which are controlled automatically or manually by an electromagnetic valve.
