Products Description
Lanthanum strontium cobalt ferrite (LSCF) is widely used as a cathode in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), especially for high-performance applications.
As a perovskite material, LSCF operates at lower temperatures with mixed ionic and electronic conductivity and strong electrocatalytic activity. Thin films outperform thick dense ones. Though its ionic conductivity is lower than YSZ, it remains highly conductive. X-ray diffraction and electrochemical tests show lattice expansion during operation. LSCF is typically synthesized via solid-state reactions of metal oxides.
