Products Description
The system primarily consists of two sets of cylinder-driven testing fixtures, a single-stage gas booster pump, a digital pressure transmitter, a high-pressure solenoid valve, a PLC touch screen controller, and a computer-based data acquisition system.
Functional Overview:
Incoming Material Inspection:
One testing fixture is used for random inspection of the outage pressure and bursting pressure of cap materials upon receipt.
Empty Shell Lithium Battery Testing:
The second fixture is designed for the random inspection of empty shell lithium batteries. Samples undergo testing for outage pressure, burst pressure, and sealing airtightness.
Sample Requirements:
The empty shell lithium battery samples refer to finished, non-filled lithium battery casings produced under normal manufacturing conditions or specially prepared test samples without battery cells.
A small hole must be drilled in the center of the bottom of the negative electrode of the empty shell lithium battery.
During testing, the negative electrode of the cap must maintain electrical contact with the battery shell to ensure accurate measurements.
Airtightness Detection:
Airtightness is visually inspected through a dedicated fixture component that allows direct observation of leaks or pressure loss in the lithium battery shell.
